The agency’s content on the LED wall or through the camera does not look the same as it did when approved by quality control?
The lighting design in real life looks completely different to what it does on the LED wall or in the video control room?
Who hasn’t experienced this yet? But does it have to be like that?
If all necessary has been considered… No.
To ensure that everything in the HDR Experience Zone at the LEaT con 24 looks the way it should, Johannes Grieb, LED supervisor, and I met with the ST.ROBO design team for an HDR workshop in Berlin.
We discussed HDR basics for lighting and content design and developed an HDR workflow from production to show in theory and practice. Most importantly, applicable before the begin of the design process.
Anyone who wants to witness the results in real life should plan a visit to the HDR Experience Zone at the LEaT con 24 in Hamburg.
Many thanks to the ST.ROBO team for their attention and the enlightened day in Berlin.
Many thanks also to BLOW UP Videoproduktion | Martin Schiemann for the Sony HDC-4300 camera channel and to BET Michael Mücher for the HDR reference display.
